Founder Story

From Humble Beginnings to Global Leadership

Almost 23 years ago, a young immigrant landed in the United States at 17 years of age with two suitcases, $500 in cash, and a semi-conversational English proficiency. Fast forward to present time, our CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Mladen “MC” Cvijanovic, is a Senior-Level Executive with 5 advanced degrees in Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, including an Executive MBA in Organizational Leadership and a Doctorate in Neuropsychology and Social Psychology focusing on optimal human performance in their work setting.

Dr. Cvijanovic has held a variety of leadership positions over the last 15 years, including Chief Operating Officer, Interim Chief Commercial Officer, Executive Vice President and General Manager, and Head of Sales for large global corporations across several industries. Dr. Cvijanovic has extensive experience in leading large global cross-functional teams in Healthcare, Life Science, Education and Higher Education, Language Acquisition, and Translation and Interpretation industries.

Parallel with his pursuit for operational excellence in the corporate sector, Dr. Cvijanovic has also provided pro-bono services to individuals in need of counseling, career coaching, public speaking, sales training, personal skillset development, and life coaching.

The mission of MCG Worldwide is driven by two favorite quotes from our founder, “If everyone did one random act of kindness towards another human being every single day, this world would be a better place for all,” and “Our main purpose in life should be a pursuit of excellence in everything that we do in our personal and professional lives and no one should settle for anything less than their best!”
